Fujairah is the only emirate that is located completely on the eastern coast of the UAE along the Gulf of Oman. While Khorfakkan is a city in Sharjah, it is located close to Fujairah. With its rugged mountains, valleys, waterfalls, oases and wide sandy beaches, the climate here is more moderate than that of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Al Bidyah Mosque

Also known as the Ottoman Mosque, it is believed to be the oldest mosque in the country. Al Bithnah Fort

Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and Waterfall

The Amphitheatre, inspired by Roman architecture, spans over 1700 sqm, accommodating 3500 spectators. It boasts a state-of-the-art cooling system and is complemented by a 45m high man-made waterfall, carved from natural rock. Viewing windows at the top offer visitors a unique perspective of the cascading water and the whole attraction is beautifully illuminated at night.
