Inland Sea
Recognized by UNESCO for its unique environmental and geological significance, this remote coastal inlet is one of the few places in the world where the sea meets the desert. Accessible only by 4x4 across sweeping sand dunes, the journey is as breathtaking as the destination. As you descend into the soft sands, the landscape transforms dramatically — golden dunes roll into the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf, creating a stunning contrast and an otherworldly atmosphere.
Guests can opt for a Day Pass that gives them full-day access to the resort's facilities, including beachfront areas, recreational activities, and dining options. The day pass typically includes a welcome drink, lunch or dinner with beverages, and access to various amenities.
Dhow Cruise
Glide through the tranquil waters of the Arabian Gulf, aboard a traditional wooden dhow, offering a unique vantage point to admire Doha's harmonious blend of historic charm and modern architecture. Opt for an evening cruise to experience the mesmerizing hues of the sunset reflecting off the city's skyline, creating a picturesque backdrop. Camel Racetrack
As Qatar's premier venue for camel racing, this state-of-the-art facility offers visitors an authentic glimpse into one of the region's most cherished traditions. The Al Shahaniya Camel Racetrack accommodates both domestic and international competitions, showcasing the finest camels from Qatar and neighboring countries. The camel racing season typically runs from October to February, with races held every Friday. Major events, such as the HH the Emir's Main Race, take place in March and April, attracting participants and spectators from across the Gulf region. Visitors to Al Shahaniya can enjoy the races from shaded grandstands or experience the excitement firsthand by driving alongside the track, following the camels as they race. The facility also offers opportunities to visit camel stables, and learn about their care and training.
Organic Desert Farm
A sustainable sanctuary, the Heenat Salma Farm was transformed from a traditional date farm into an eco-conscious retreat, offering visitors a unique blend of regenerative agriculture, wellness, and cultural experiences. The farm cultivates around 30 varieties of crops, including seasonal fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, honey, and meat. Heenat Salma's kitchen embodies the farm-to-table philosophy, serving nourishing meals prepared by in-house chefs using freshly harvested, organic produce.
Horse Stable tour
Established in 1992 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Al Shaqab Equestrian Center is a world-class equestrian facility dedicated to preserving the Arabian horse breed and promoting Qatar's equestrian traditions. Located within Education City, the center spans over 980,000 square meters and houses more than 400 purebred Arabian horses. Al Shaqab offers a variety of guided tours designed to provide visitors with an immersive experience into the world of Arabian horses, observing training sessions, grooming practices, and even interacting with the horses.
Kayaking
Embark on a serene kayaking adventure through Al Thakira Mangroves, one of Qatar's most captivating natural landscapes. Located near Al Khor, approximately an hour's drive from Doha, it features winding waterways lined with verdant mangrove trees. The mangroves are home to diverse flora and fauna, including reef egrets, herons, terns, and various marine life. Depending on the season, you might also spot migratory birds and other wildlife.
