Having started with two sand courses, the game of golf has existed in Oman since 1970. Echoing Oman's landscape, from the tall mountains and deep gorges of the Al Hajar range to the unspoilt beaches and dramatic coastline, the golf courses provide a unique and memorable experience for those who play them.

Al Mouj Golf
The host venue for the European Tour’s Oman Open, the Greg Norman designed Al Mouj Golf opened in 2011 and is regarded by many as Oman’s top course. Forming part of the Al Mouj Muscat luxury waterfront development the views from each hole are spectacular as the layout tracks its way along Oman’s shoreline.

Ghala Golf Club
Oman’s grand old Ghala Golf Club has come a long way since it was established in 1971, and this 18-hole championship layout now plays host to the MENA Golf Tour and Oman Amateur Championships every year. The course is set snugly into a valley and surrounded by mountains, and its narrow fairways will certainly challenge you.

Jebel Sifah Golf Course
Located at a 45-minute drive south-east of Muscat, this gem of a layout designed by Peter Harradine forms part of the luxurious Jebel Sifah lifestyle development and marina. With multiple teeing options the golf course is designed to suit all levels of golfer, the 9 hole par-36 course can also be played as an 18-hole layout with second pin flags. With the Gulf of Oman in front, and the Al Hajar peaks behind, the setting is truly breathtaking.

La Vie Club
A fully reimagined 18-hole golf course, with lush views and nature all around. It is designed to challenge seasoned players and inspire new starters. It also features the TopTracer Driving Range: a fun, interactive way to practice and experience golf in an entertaining, informal setting. It’s a fun way to stay fit and active while improving your swing. With the latest technology and user-friendly interface, TopTracer Range is accessible for all skill levels.

Ras Al Hamra Golf Club
Oman’s first completely floodlit 18-hole layout, which is played over 9 holes from multiple tee positions and alternate green locations providing a par 71 course ranging from 5,400 to 6,500 yards in length. Designed by the leading course architect Graham Marsh, the desert style layout makes its way through a series of arid wadis and around several high coastal hillsides. Despite its slightly shorter length, it tests all shot-making abilities with every club in the bag, including the driver.
